Terra en Moviment: a bridge towards the social inclusion of people with Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities through therapeutic exercise.

The ASPACE Catalunya Foundation proposes to establish a space highly specialized in the practice of therapeutic exercise for people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, seeking to improve the quality of life and promote social inclusion through adapted and integrative physical activities. Through an accessible community environment and a multidisciplinary team, the project seeks to provide a complete and highly specialized intervention to enhance the personal autonomy and active participation of families and caregivers.

The ASPACE Catalunya Foundation proposes to establish a space specialized in therapeutic exercise for people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, prioritizing the improvement of quality of life and social inclusion through adapted activities. Through a comprehensive approach and the participation of families, the project seeks to enhance personal autonomy and community integration through the therapeutic gym for people with multiple disabilities. The project responds to the need to provide a complete response to the physical and functional neurorehabilitation needs of people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, including aging. It addresses the lack of specialized spaces and the importance of promoting social inclusion through therapeutic activities in an accessible and inclusive environment.

Approach and Strategies

It will be based on the physical adaptation of the space, the formation of a qualified team, the development of a plan of adapted activities and the collaboration with other entities to adapt community spaces.
