Rehabilitation doctor

Degree in medicine and surgery from the National University of Colombia (2010), where for the first time he had contact with the specialty of rehabilitation at the Roosevelt Institute (reference center in child rehabilitation). He specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Vall d'Hebron Hospital (2013-2017). Within his resident curriculum he spent two stays: Berlin, Medical Park Berlin Humboldtmühle in the neurology research area, and later in Madrid, Hospital la Pau, in child rehabilitation. His passion for neurorehabilitation has led him to be at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital Research Institute with a pre-doctoral grant researching biomarkers of neuroplasticity post stroke to date. He was assistant physician in Hospitals such as: Vall d'Hebron in the spinal cord injury unit, Lymphoedema and osteoarticular unit; and Bellvitge Hospital in the neurorehabilitation and cardiorespiratory unit. At the same time, he has completed a master's degree in musculoskeletal ultrasound at ECOSERMEF to address painful pathology and interventional techniques for the management of spasticity. Member of the Spanish Pain Society, where he is training as a Pain specialist. His passion for the treatment of pain with a multidisciplinary approach has led him to be linked for 7 years to the Barcelona Spine Institute (Hospital Quirón) working on the spine and currently he is part of the interdisciplinary Pain Clinic group of the Consorci Sociosanitari Hospital Parc Tauli ( Sabadell). Since 2020, its commitment to the Aspace Foundation has been to provide comprehensive, specialized and humanized care to this day.
