A day full of magic, emotion and inclusion at the Aspace Catalunya Foundation's Montjuïc Comprehensive Centre

The magic show brought together users of Day and Residential Care Services in a participatory activity that promoted well-being and social cohesion.

The sports center of the Montjuïc Integral Center was filled with excitement, laughter and complicity during a magic show organized by the Aspace Catalunya Foundation. The activity, lasting an hour and a half, offered an interactive proposal adapted to the needs and rhythms of the participants of the Day and Residential Care Services.

The artist managed to captivate the audience with magic numbers that invited direct participation, stimulating curiosity and surprise. Beyond entertainment, the main objective was to promote the emotional well-being and social cohesion of people with multiple disabilities, generating a shared space for leisure and culture in a fully inclusive and accessible environment.

Throughout the show, an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy could be perceived. Smiles, applause and exclamations of surprise filled the room, evidencing the enjoyment and involvement of the attendees. The collective nature of the day facilitated interaction between participants from different centers, strengthening bonds and promoting coexistence.

The professional teams gave the initiative a very positive assessment, highlighting its enriching and motivating nature. They pointed out that activities like this contribute to diversifying the recreational offerings of the services and consolidating relationships between users and professionals.

The show fully achieved its objectives and became a meaningful and transformative experience. A day that demonstrated that magic, beyond tricks, can be a powerful tool to foster connection, participation and the emotional well-being of all participants.

It was possible to carry out thanks to the “Program for the promotion of active living in the community of people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities” of the FEPCCAT, with the collaboration of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
