The Aspace Catalunya Foundation turns physical activity into a collective celebration of inclusion, creativity and shared joy. During the summer, the Sports Service has launched a special program that transcends sporting activity and becomes a powerful tool for social cohesion and personal growth.
A summer proposal: sport with meaning and heart
Far from traditional competitive sport, Aspace Catalunya understands physical activity as a space for relationships, discovery and well-being. This July, the Sports team has redesigned its proposals to promote a fun experience, active participation and connection between people. In the words of those responsible for the service: “Playing, moving, enjoying and sharing: these have been the themes of our July.”
Boccia and baseball: when sport is for everyone
The first week started with a vibrant Boccia league, planned as a rotating tournament where each match became an opportunity to strengthen bonds and promote fair play. The teams, dynamically configured according to attendance, showed an excellent sporting spirit and a great capacity for adaptation.
The second week was marked by an emotional adapted baseball league (pitchi)With multiple throwing options and different balls, each person was able to find their own way to participate. The rules, adapted to favor a positive experience, allowed for an inclusive practice, where mutual support weighed more than competition.
Water, laughter and cohesion: summer is also experienced at the aquatic center
Aquatic activities, a central element of the service throughout the year, also had their special moment in July. Dice Dynamics transformed the pool into a stage for cooperative challenges and creative movement. And to end the month, a great Water Party It filled the space with joy, collective decoration and a closing to the rhythm of aquagym, leaving a mark of emotion and shared pride.
A transforming experience
This July has not only served to continue stimulating the motor and social skills of the users, but has also been a true experience of coexistence and collective growth. The activities have highlighted the Sports Service's commitment to physical practice meaningful, adapted and deeply human.
Aspace Catalunya claims, once again, sport as a powerful tool for inclusion, and July has been the best proof that When physical activity is experienced from the heart, everyone has a place.
