On May 28 and 29, the VIII #ASPACEnet Conference took place in Madrid. In this edition, the main theme has been low-cost technology.
No one doubts the benefit of technology for people with cerebral palsy, for this reason, Àngel Aguilar, engineer of the ASPACE Catalunya Foundation together with APPC Tarragona and Ease APPS presented the "Digital transformation through music" project within the Days
The aim of the project is that all the users of the participating entities can create their own songs, supporting each other so that they create and have their own music and share the stage for their interpretation. Make available the resulting music and video clips on internet platforms. To increase motivation in participating in the activity, periodic video conferences will be held between centers to see how the users evolve. Technology is identified as key as it makes it possible for many people with sensory, cognitive and/or physical difficulties to have the opportunity to participate in the process from a communicator to help them write the songs to an instrument that allows them to interpret them.
let's continue #connect2Xaccessibility, because technology transforms people's lives!
