The robotic revolution is coming to the Aspace Catalunya Foundation

The Aspace Catalunya Foundation has launched the pioneering project on "Neurorehabilitation through technologies based on robotics and sensors for people with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities" in the neurorehabilitation service. This innovative program has as its main objective to improve the quality of life by promoting motor, social and cognitive function. In addition, it speeds up the care processes, and this allows for long-term follow-up that has an impact on an improvement in the person's well-being and autonomy.

The project stands out for its innovation in the neurorehabilitative treatment of people with multiple disabilities through Virtual Reality, becoming a motivating resource that generates adherence to the care activity. At the same time, thanks to the sensor systems, it facilitates the clinical assessment of the participants and enables healthcare professionals to promote research and scientific evidence in this field of action.

The use of new support technologies in neurorehabilitation is an essential complementary part of care, helping to improve the effectiveness of the person-centered care process.

This immersion of robotics in accompanying processes helps to drive improvements in more accurate assessment and diagnosis, design of personalized treatment plans, continuous monitoring and monitoring, and access to valuable information for the correct decision-making in all the time

The Aspace Catalunya Foundation, through this project, responds to the current needs of users whose objective is to favor and promote new complementary therapies in neurorehabilitation as well as to promote new knowledge in care procedures in multiple disabilities by sharing relevant information to the health network.

Ultimately, this promising and innovative initiative aims to transform the lives of people with highly complex profiles, offering new opportunities in their life process and significantly improving their quality of life. The Aspace Catalunya Foundation is committed to innovation in neurorehabilitation and to the use of robotic technology as a means to make this possible.

Thanks to donations like that of Fundación Inocente Inocente we can move forward with projects of this magnitude.
