Last March 15, the 3rd annual Council for participation and monitoring of the Aspace Residence was held.
In this meeting it was detected whether the areas of improvement raised last year have been resolved or not. Most of the points agreed last year have improved and one point of improvement that was commented on was communication with families.
The meeting explained the work plan put in place for this 2017-2018 academic year, the explanation of the project we are starting to improve the participation and communication of users who require support for their full inclusion in the workshops. For their part, the families raise the need to make other families aware of and inform the details and complexity of the project, they believe it is very necessary to hold a meeting with all the families in the residence.
The users jointly drew up a list of improvements to the operation of the residence (subjects relating to the rooms, food, toilets, maintenance, among others). The director of the Residence, Mrs. Míriam Torrella took note of all the contributions and issues raised by users with the aim of working together for continuous improvement. It is important to highlight that all the topics commented on by the users have been worked on by the entire set of residents with the pedagogical coordinator of activities, Lupe, in weekly sessions.

We want to highlight the importance of this participation council, where all the parties that make up the Residence meet to share points of view, information and demands, with the sole aim of providing comprehensive attention to our users, as well as to their families
