On June 30 and July 1, the III International Congress on Health and Aging Research and the I International Congress on Health Research took place in Madrid.
The physiotherapist Anna Sanagustín Vidal who works at our school and is a teacher at the Faculty of Health Sciences Blanquerna, Ramon Llull University participated presenting the oral communication "Effects of conventional physiotherapy and the Halliwick method in the improvement of cerebral palsy : systematic review of the literature".
Published studies demonstrate that there is a need to determine the effectiveness of exercise programs in improving daily activity, level of participation in children with cerebral palsy, and quality of life. The joint work of conventional physiotherapy and the Halliwick method in cerebral palsy is favorable although there are few studies that evaluate this aquatic method due to its recent implementation in clinical practice.
Your communication contributed to spreading the word about Aspace Barcelona and the research that is carried out regarding the therapies that are carried out with our users.
