The Foundation received a visit from a delegation of professionals from the Hospital Clínic, led by Marta Barahona, head of the Hospital's public service area.
The meeting served to strengthen ties and share experiences in diversity management. This meeting reflects the commitment of both entities to promote inclusive care, adapted to the needs of each person and aimed at comprehensive well-being.
Diversity is at the heart of our identity and the engine that drives all our actions. We proudly lead a person-centered model of care that values the unique capabilities of each individual, adapting to their needs, contexts and environments. In addition, diversity is worked on with awareness and visibility actions through activities with students, adapted sports days and support for children's nutrition, thus promoting mutual respect and understanding of different realities. Values such as solidarity, respect for traditions and training are also promoted to guarantee equal opportunities in all areas.
The Aspace Catalunya Foundation is a leader in the treatment of neurodevelopmental pathologies, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, they treat more than 3.250 people annually. With more than 300 professionals at the service of people, the organization promotes research, innovation and the personalization of its services, valuing diversity as an essential asset for the community.
During the visit, the Foundation's comprehensive care model, focused on people and their unique capabilities, was highlighted. This model includes individualized plans, technological support, training for families and professionals, as well as adaptation to cultural and socioeconomic needs, among others.
This collaboration with the Hospital Clínic reinforces the joint commitment to awareness, visibility and inclusion, showing that diversity not only enriches, but is fundamental to building a fairer and more equitable society.
