The Aspace Catalunya Foundation shares its innovation model with entities from across the State

The visit is part of the training of new entities that will join the European Rehab-Lab network.

The Aspace Catalunya Foundation has received visits from several entities from all over Spain that are currently participating in a training process to join Rehab Lab, a European network of fablabs specialized in the design and manufacture of personalized functional aids using 3D printing for people with disabilities.

The meeting served to publicize the experience of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation in the field of support technology and applied innovation, as well as to highlight a comprehensive care model focused on the needs of people with highly complex diagnoses.

During the day, the participating entities were able to learn first-hand about the different services offered by the Foundation and the way it accompanies people throughout the different stages of life, from an interdisciplinary and personalized perspective.

Technology, networking and personalized solutions to improve autonomy

One of the central moments of the visit was the presentation of the work carried out by theResource Team and Support Technology from the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, which works cross-cuttingly with the health, education and social fields. The team has shared its working methodology, based on the detection of needs, coordination between professionals and the development of responses adapted to each person.

In this framework, the Foundation has also presented the project Create-3D, an initiative that allows the design and manufacture of personalized functional aids with 3D printing technology. This project makes it possible to create solutions tailored to the specific needs of each person, with the aim of promoting autonomy, promoting participation and improving quality of life.

The visit included a tour of the entity's facilities and created a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the participating organizations. The event highlighted the importance of networking and knowledge transfer to advance the development of useful, accessible and transformative solutions.

With these types of encounters, the Aspace Catalonia Foundation reinforces its commitment to innovation as a tool at the service of people and consolidates its role as a leading entity in the application of support technology to respond to complex needs through specialized, personalized and person-centered care.
