TALK ABOUT AFFECTION AND SEXUALITY IN PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Today, November 22, ASPACE has organized a talk at the Center Integral Montjuïc aimed at families of ASPACE users, based on the approach to affectivity and sexuality in people with disabilities, in response to the demand of some families.

This talk is the beginning of a process of training and information, in which we will work with families, users and professionals, both globally and individually.

The talks, both today and the one on December 14 called "Future planning", are organized by the family support groups of the residence, through an agreement with DINCAT, and which are subsidized by the Ministry of Health, Services and Equality.

The talk was led by Ms. Gemma Deulofeu, graduate in Psychology, master's degree in sexuality and couple and family therapy, with specialized training in care for people with intellectual disabilities and sexual crimes, postgraduate degree in Integrative Body Work and master's degree in intellectual disability, mental health and idiosyncrasies of conduct
