A group of social workers, health professionals and civil servants visit the CIM facilities of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation
A total of twenty-five professionals, from different private centers dedicated to the care of cerebral palsy, and from the public sector of South Korea, have come to Spain to visit some socio-sanitary centers and services, including our Foundation.
His visit to Spain included the Social and Health Services of Madrid, Seville and Barcelona, with the aim of getting to know the socio-health care model that the country offers to people with Cerebral Palsy.
The group was received by our Honorary President, Mr. Jorge de Pallejá Ricart, by the General Director, Doctor Carles Sanrama and by his management team from different areas, and they met to respond to their multiple interests, all related to the collective human rights, the care model, patient satisfaction strategies, evaluation systems, work team model and collective care professionals, programs and individual projects in the different stages of the life cycle, types of employment and legal regulations regarding the employment of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, among many other concerns.
After the meeting they were able to see the installations of the residence, day center, vegetable garden, multi-sensory room, swimming pool, sports center, physiotherapy room, receiving a guided tour by our director of Community Services, Miriam Torrella, on what activities and treatments are carried out from said facilities.
We want to emphasize that it has been a great experience of cultural exchange and knowledge and we want to thank the Delegation for its visit to our facilities.
