From April 30 you can request one Extraordinary benefit for basic supplies for people affected by the crisis situation caused by COVID-19
It consists of an extraordinary economic benefit of 200 euros, a single payment, with the aim of facilitating the acquisition of food products, pharmacy and other basic supplies, intended for self-employed or self-employed workers, with charges relatives, who prove a drastic and involuntary reduction in their income as a result of the declaration of the state of alarm decreed by Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, by which the state of alarm is declared for to the management of the health crisis situation arising from the COVID-19.
Each family unit is entitled to a single file.
Who can request it?
Beneficiaries of this benefit can be self-employed or employed workers, with legal residence in Catalonia, who meet the following requirements:
a) Be over eighteen years old.
b) Be registered and legally reside in a municipality in Catalonia.
c) Be in any of the following situations:
c.1) Being an employee and having been affected by a temporary employment regulation file, in accordance with the assumptions provided for in articles 22 and 23 of Royal Decree-Law 8/2020, of March 17 , of extraordinary urgent measures to deal with the economic and social impact of the COVID-19, or be fixed discontinuous included in article 25.6, or have their temporary employment contract terminated as a result of the crisis healthcare derived from COVID-19.
c.2) Being self-employed and having had to suspend or reduce their economic activity as a result of the health crisis resulting from COVID-19.
d) Having suffered an involuntary reduction in income from work or in its turnover for the total of the months of March and April 2020, greater than 30% compared to the same period of the previous year, as a result of the effects of the COVID-19. In the case of people with a length of service in their last employment contract or self-employment of less than one year, the comparison will be made with the average of the monthly results from the effective start date of the job or 'high on own account, respectively.
e) The economic income of the applicant and his entire family unit during the months of March and April 2020 must be, on average, less than 2.098,37 euros gross per month. For this purpose, the economic income of all the people who make up the family unit is calculated. A family unit is understood to be made up of one or more people who live together in the same address and who between them maintain a conjugal bond or stable partnership, or family bonds by consanguinity or affinity up to the second degree and, also by adoption or
foster care, or cohabitation bonds similar to the bonds mentioned, excluding those that are simply shared neighborhood.
f) The applicant must have family members who live with him and are dependent on him.
g) In the case of intermittent fixed workers, the particularities they have due to their condition must be applied to the fulfillment of the requirements.
