The Aspace Catalunya Foundation manages to have two scientific posters and a presentation at the World Congress of Hospitals
The Aspace Catalunya Foundation has been present, for the second consecutive year, in the 46th World Congress of Hospitals of the International Hospital Federation (IHF), which took place in Lisbon Congress Center, Portugal, during the last week of October. It should be noted that it is a renowned international event in the health field, since it is the only congress that connects representatives of the different global health systems, such as representatives of hospitals, health services and organizations, public administrations, employers, etc. The main objective of this event is to promote collaboration, share knowledge and encourage best practices in leadership and innovation in the field of health.
Elena Puigdevall i Grau, general director of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, has intervened as a speaker in the World Hospital Congress. In his presentation, Puigdevall explained the origins and evolution of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, highlighting its vision and commitment to excellence in care for people with neurodevelopmental disorders, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities. He has illustrated this vision through a visual and captivating presentation, where he has developed the meaning and importance of the concept of leadership, and how it influences strategy and governance to turn the entity into a reference organization in the model of health, social and educational integration.
In addition to the participation of the director general, the Aspace Catalunya Foundation was represented at the congress with two scientific posters. The first of them, titled "Patient experience through applied innovative technologies: neurodevelopmental disorders, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities", elaborated by Carlos Varela, Director of Transversal Operations and Social Area. This poster highlighted the transformative power of technology in people's care, as it improves their accessibility, quality of life and autonomy.
The second poster, under the name of "Integrated care model in the fields of health, social, and education: for people with neurodevelopmental disorders, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities", presentat by Tamara Biedermann, director of the Health field. The poster explained how the integrated care model has made it possible to develop and promote activities in the health, social and educational framework, with the aim of preventing dependency and promoting the autonomy of people with neurodevelopmental pathologies, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities.
The Aspace Catalunya Foundation maintains a compromises constant with excellence and innovation in the care of people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
