Yesterday, December 3, was celebrated the International Day of People with Disabilities or Functional Diversity. The Social Integration Center of Badalona, to commemorate this date last Friday the 1st, they organized two activities:
– They took part in the Plaça de la Vila de Badalona in an Exhibition of Third Sector Entities organized by the Badalona City Council, where in addition to having a table with a small collection of handicraft products made by the boys in the areas of work, we did a small exhibition of Boccia and Slalom.
– A well-known journalist, monologist and comedian, Javi Giménez, who has appeared on programs such as Krakovia, came to visit us at the Centre. The group from the radio area did an interview with him and then he gave us a monologue and together we did a bit of a show, imitating well-known characters. It was a very intense and fun day!!
On the other hand, the users of the residence to commemorate International Disability Day, participated in the multidisciplinary Symbiotic Festival of performing arts that took place this weekend at Nau Ivanow at Carrer d'Hondures, 28 .
During the morning we enjoyed a talk about the performing arts and inclusion, even our users were able to participate by saying their opinion about it.
