As Director General, I am pleased to announce that Ms. Elena Puigdevall will occupy the General Sub-Directorate of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation and Dra. Tamara Biedermann will head the Health Services of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation.
Following the roadmap of the entity's 2019-2021 Strategic Plan, it is necessary to create the general sub-directorate in the Foundation's organizational chart, which will support the general management.
La Ms. Elena Puigdevall has been doing an excellent job in the direction and management of health services and we are satisfied that he accepts this challenge with a vision of development and strategic growth of the entity, strengthening strategic alliances, as well as improving the sustainability of the Foundation, among others.
She holds a Degree in Psychology from URL-Blanquerna, an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from ESADE, and a Master's in Public Health from UPF. At the same time, she also holds a Diploma in Nursing, a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration and Management and a Master's Degree in Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health from the UB.
Since 2017, he has led the direction of Aspace's health services, with the achievement of the entity's incorporation into the Integral Health System for public use of Catalonia (SISCAT) and the establishment of important strategic alliances with different Hospitals of reference Prior to this period, he had more than 12 years of experience in planning, contracting and evaluating public health services at the Catalan Health Service/Consorci Sanitari de Barcelona and the Catalan Health Institute.
His vocation, commitment and entrepreneurial leadership have favored the firm decision of his candidacy in order to position the organization in an improved position within the sector as a reference entity in cerebral palsy and neurological developmental diseases.
Her personal values, as well as her competence skills and the ability to involve the entire organization, characterize her to find great opportunities in moments of complexity, always keeping in mind the values and founding mission of Aspace.
La Dr. Tamara Biedermann, rehabilitation doctor at Aspace since 2018, will fill the vacant position left by Elena. And therefore he will lead and manage the portfolio of health services, which includes specialized ambulatory care in mental health and rehabilitation, day hospital, cdiap, resource service and support technology and research. However, he will become part of the management team of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation.
She has a degree in medicine and surgery from the National University of Asunción - Cuadro de Honor, specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, specialist in child disability from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has experience in different foundations as a specialist doctor and project coordinator, with an emphasis on cerebral palsy and neurological pathology.
Her expertise as a recognized specialist in the rehabilitative environment, her predisposition, responsibility and commitment, as well as her affable character have favored her as the candidate of excellence to lead the healthcare management of Aspace's health services .
These changes will consolidate the Aspace Catalunya Foundation into an innovative and benchmark entity in the cerebral palsy sector, resulting in the best care for users of all services: health, social and educational.
