More than 2.400 people are "On the march for cerebral palsy" in Barcelona

The 8th edition of the En marcha por palálisi solidarity race brought together more than 2.400 people yesterday in the Les Corts District of Barcelona. Between one and two in 10 people enrolled had cerebral palsy or another similar disability.

From the Foundation we participated both in the Flashmoob prior to the days of the race and the participation of users from the different centers of ASPACE. There were users, families and carers who made the one kilometer journey together. It was a race of personal improvement and success for all who participated.

In a festive and familiar context, the participants paid tribute to the group of people with cerebral palsy, who seek to live as normal a life as possible, as well as to claim the role of families and organizations that work for their best quality of life and for their well-being.

The organization set up, as is tradition, two routes: one of 5 km, and another of 1 km, to promote the joint participation of people with paralysis
cerebral and non-disabled people.

Before concluding the day, symbolic trophies were given to the winners of the 24 categories of the race. In addition, Ipsen Pharma handed over a check worth 15.000 euros to the FEPCCAT, with the intention of helping the Federation in projects aimed at the group of people with cerebral palsy.
