During this course, the sports service has welcomed 10 trainees, 9 from INEFC and 1 from the University of Poitiers.
Students on internships are an added value to the service, as well as volunteers.
They come to the sports service eager to help and learn, and with many questions. They bring to our day-to-day excitement, curiosity, ideas, ... and for us, it forces us to find appropriate and precise words to explain what we do with users, how we do it and why we do it. Their presence helps us to question ourselves and allows us to find aspects in which to continue improving.
We look for them to understand how to work with people who have different abilities; that they learn to see these capacities and appreciate them; and to observe that the methodology is key to achieving a participatory and inclusive physical activity design, a universal design. And also, that they can keep in mind the organizational aspects that guarantee inclusion so that they have references in their professional future and are able to enhance it.
For this reason, if possible, we like students to go through the different activities we do and see the different approaches according to groups and ages: water activity, sports for everyone, and inclusive exchange activities with students of different ages. educational centers (upper primary school, ESO, high school and physical activity training centers)
We leave you a photo gallery where you can see some of the activities in which they participated.
