At the Aspace Catalunya Foundation school , the importance of letting students experience the cultural festivals of the locality in Catalonia is valued , this is done through celebrations of all the popular festivals.
Based on the ideology in which the school is defined, which does so as a Catalan and Non-denominational School , it seeks to bring students closer to the culture, history and traditions of the Catalan territory from a festive and pedagogical point of view.
The aim is for students to learn about and appreciate the festivals, traditions and other cultural manifestations within the environment to which they belong, showing attitudes of respect, interest and participation to the extent of their possibilities. It is essential to bring them closer to the festivals, adapting them as much as possible to their abilities.
Celebrating traditional festivals together as an educational community helps develop in students the ability to live together and inhabit the world that marks the early childhood and primary education curriculum, while supporting and promoting everyone's participation, creativity and commitment.

During the preparation, within the classrooms and in its subsequent group celebration, values such as: appreciation for the different popular festivals, teamwork in terms of organizing and carrying out the event, respect for others; their opinions and cooperative work between the school and the rest of the educational community are promoted.
The Aspace Catalunya Foundation school has already started the Christmas and end-of-year parties for families to encourage interaction between them. These are festivities that students, families and all the school staff look forward to, because they allow them to share moments of togetherness that help strengthen bonds.
