Today we celebrated the autumn festival and the Chestnut Festival at school. It was an event full of color and fun, where students were able to enjoy activities related to nature and traditions. During the previous weeks, the theme of the trees, fruits and herbs that give the classrooms their name has been worked on in depth, exploring them in a sensory way. The students have touched, smelled and observed some of these natural elements, enjoying first-hand their characteristics.
One of the most outstanding activities has been the decorated pumpkins competition. The students put their creativity into practice, decorating them with original colors and designs. The pumpkins were displayed in the hall, where the classrooms admired the creations of our little artists. The students themselves have decided the most original ones, but we want to emphasize the participation of all the boys and girls in the school.
To close the celebration, each class took a photo with a chestnut tree to the rhythm of autumn music that accompanied us throughout the day in front of the p created jointly between students and professionals the previous days.
Despite the weather conditions that led us to enjoy the celebration inside the school premises and not outside, the party was a great opportunity to celebrate autumn and the Chestnut festival in a fun way, strengthening the bonds between colleagues and with the traditions of our culture.
