Inclusive Sport at the CIM with the Mediterrània school in Viladecans

Today, 23 boys and girls from the 6th B class, from the Mediterrània school in Viladecans, came to the CIM. They shared with us the morning of sports for everyone with the users of the CTO de Poblenou and the Center de Dia Montjuïc, enjoying different activities. At the beginning of the session we noticed some nervousness, both on the part of the children and us, because we did not know each other, but as the session progressed, we relaxed and were able to enjoy a very fun morning.

In order to break the ice, we played the "hello" game where we introduced ourselves as we ran into each other as we randomly walked around the pavilion. To warm up, we played the "sacks of taste" game (food, colors, etc.) and then, in the usual "sports ladder game", we fell into the snake box!!! Txulo, because we had to dance a conga in the shape of a snake and go around the facility, concierge included.

In the next throw of the die we fell into the box of popular games, and we played the "double handkerchief", and after a 5 minute break, with a change of users included, we played directly the "three in a row slalomero ".

In the final assembly, Edu explained to them that usually at the end of the session we relax with different materials. All the users on Wednesday were very participatory and enjoyed sharing the experience with school children and asked them to come back another day.

We were able to share the feelings we were left with at the end of the morning:

The one that dominated the most was having enjoyed the activity with new people. One girl pointed out that she had lost her fear and another, that she had really liked the classmates she had played with. We have made a collection of sensations on post-its that we will have hanging in the pavilion for a few days. ASPACE users have given them backpacks with a laminated drawing made for each of the users. The school children have brought drawings and a box with a dedication to Aspace by each one.

We will have the next exchange on April 18, with the 6th A.
