On the occasion of 20th anniversary of the Occupational Center, we celebrate two decades since its move from Numància to Badalona with an open day dedicated to families. This day has been an enriching experience, full of joy, motivation and excitement, where family members have had the opportunity to participate in the workshops that are part of the day-to-day life of their sons and daughters.
Each occupational area has designed a specific workshop for families, offering them a meaningful and memorable experience. The day was completed with a shop and the sale of the 2025 Center Calendar, which includes images that represent us and reflect our essence.
Families are a fundamental pillar of the entityFor this reason, we have considered it essential that they are also protagonists of this celebration, promoting their participation and bringing them even closer to the day-to-day life of Aspace Badalona.
At the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, we have always encouraged a close and quality relationship with families and users, offering a welcoming environment that makes them feel an essential part of our community.
For this reason, this day has been especially significant, since the users of the Center have assumed the role of teachers, teaching their parents the activities they carry out in the different areas. This learning exchange has had a great positive impact, enhancing the empowerment and motivation of the participants.This year, parents have been able to make cookies in the Cooking area, create earrings in Ecoaula, design badges in Computer Science, participate in interviews on Radio and even be part of a report on Video.
In the context of this anniversary, we want to highlight the values that define us as an entity and as the Badalona Occupational Therapy Center. We are proud to work with a person-centered care, with motivation for our daily work, fostering the empowerment of users, promoting their autonomy and independent living, and creating an environment where you can enjoy, learn and share experiences. Empathy and care among all the people who are part of the center are fundamental pillars of our project.
After the success of this day, we reaffirm our commitment to continue promoting activities with families and promoting meeting spaces that allow us to continue learning and growing together.
