Casino l'Aliança opens its doors to inclusive jazz for people with cerebral palsy

The Poblenou Occupational Therapy Center of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation participates in a cultural outing to promote access to music and community life.

A group of users from the Occupational Therapy Center (CTO) of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation attended the Casino l'Aliança del Poblenou to enjoy a very special jazz concert. An initiative that seeks to bring culture and music closer to groups often forgotten in the conventional cultural offer.

The outing is part of the stimulation and social integration program of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, which promotes the active participation of people with disabilities in cultural and community life. Beyond musical enjoyment, the activity represents an opportunity to break barriers, share social spaces and live new experiences outside the occupational center.

"These spaces are essential for the emotional well-being and personal enrichment of people with disabilities. They not only stimulate artistic sensitivity, but also promote inclusion and visibility," explain those responsible for the center.

The initiative is supported by Casino l'Aliança, committed to accessible culture open to all. This inclusive line of action is reinforced by previous collaborations with institutions such as the Moco Museum, which has also offered visits adapted to people with reduced mobility and special needs.

With activities like this, the Aspace Catalunya Foundation continues to work to guarantee the right to culture and full citizenship of people with cerebral palsy, demonstrating that music, like life, must be for everyone.
