Throughout this month of August, from Monday to Friday, from the Fundació Aspace Catalunya we have been able to offer the families of the day care services the Respite Service at Home through the FEPCCAT.
A total of 12 families have been able to benefit from this service organized and financed by the Catalan Federation of Cerebral Palsy (FEPCCAT) with the hiring of 2 monitors, who have gone daily to the users' homes in order to spend with she a good time walking, going to have an aperitif, snack or visit a friend.
It has been an experience very well received and valued by the families and users, since it has not only allowed them to rest from the burden and wear and tear that the period of confinement has caused them, but it has also made it possible to normalize the lives of their children sons and daughters
We hope to continue to have the support of the FEPCCAT to carry out projects to promote leisure and respite for the users we serve in our day and occupational centers.
