On September 16, the Poblenou Occupational Therapy center turned 20 years old!!!! And the celebrations and performances planned throughout the year began for everyone to enjoy our joy
This Thursday the 20th we had the official opening with family members, professionals and friends from the different Aspace Services. We met at 15 pm and were able to share with them the speech of the technical director of the Poblenou Occupational Therapy Center (Josep Mauri) and the Director of Community Services (Míriam Torrella) in addition to a bunch of celebratory messages that many of the people who know us and whom we are very fond of brought us during the previous weeks. Our party committee, made up of different users gave voice to all colleagues and were able to explain their point of view. It was also a pride to hear from people who have been with us for 20 years continuously (the veterans) and those who have been with us for a short time (newcomers) as we are all part of the same team.
Then we all sang together, blew out the candles of a super personalized cake, toasted with cava and shared a little chat about memories and good intentions for the future.
It was a relaxed space of confidences, reunions with friends and lots of laughter.
Each user/family had a colored balloon that they could take home with photos that reflected that we are all part of Aspace Poblenou together.
We must thank all the people who participated and shared with us this afternoon.
