we collaborate in research on the prevalence of ASD

The CDIAP ASPACE collaborates in the investigation of the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in early care in Catalonia. 

The study also quantifies those under the age of 31 months who are at risk of suffering from the disorder. The results estimate an approximate prevalence of ASD of 0,57% (1:175) and confirm that there is a significant increase in the number of cases. It also shows the need for increased awareness and training programs for professionals for the early detection of ASD.
