The annual meeting of entities of the iSocial Foundation brought together a total of 22 entities from the social sector and nearly 80 professionals in a collaborative work day aimed at sharing knowledge, experiences and future challenges in the field of social innovation.

The meeting is thus consolidated as a strategic space for reflection and connection between organizations committed to the transformation of the social systemAspace Catalunya participated with a cross-sectional representation of the Social Field, made up of the Care Management, the psychopedagogical coordinator, the occupational activities coordinator, the Technical Management of the Poblenou Occupational Center and the technician in quality management and patient safety.

This diversity of profiles allowed us to provide a comprehensive vision, aligned with the person-centered care model and with a clear orientation towards continuous improvement of services.

The day began with a presentation focused on the myths and realities of social innovation, which highlighted the need to understand innovation as a structured process, sustained over time and linked to organizational culture, beyond the simple incorporation of new tools or technologies.

This approach served as a framework for subsequent work in co-creation groups. During the focus groups, the participating entities addressed priority problems in the sector, such as unwanted loneliness, mental health, dependency or aging, with special attention to the need to adapt responses to each territorial reality.

The Aspace Catalunya team had an active and proactive participation in these spaces, contributing experiences, proposals and good practices based on their healthcare and organizational history.

In recognition of this contribution, The iSocial Foundation invited Aspace Catalunya to intervene and present its innovation strategy, directly linked to the organization's innovation culture. This strategy is committed to distributed leadership, the involvement of professional teams, co-creation with users and impact assessment as key elements to promote innovation with meaning and social value. Participation in this meeting reinforces Aspace Catalunya's commitment to social innovation, networking and the construction of shared responses to the complex challenges of the sector, contributing to progress towards more integrated, sustainable and people-centered care models.
