Contribution to the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda

At the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, in the Strategic Plan 23-27, we consider as a strategic objective to contribute to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, both helping to minimize the negative impacts and maximizing the positive impacts on people and on the planet
Specifically, with our daily work we commit to the following objectives:

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

We facilitate the accessibility of health services by overcoming cultural and social barriers and making use of technology.
We promote a biopsychosocial approach to the health of service users through multidisciplinary teams. We work with a care model centered on the person, accompanying them and their family from the health, social, educational and emotional areas.
We promote healthy habits and occupational health for professionals.

GENDER EQUALITY

We guarantee equal access to jobs, including management positions. Deployment of actions derived from the Equality Plan.

REDUCTION OF INEQUALITIES

We do activities to raise awareness of the cerebral palsy and multidisability group, and their needs, as well as inclusive activities in the community. Support for canteen and transport grant programs for families at risk of social exclusion. Technological innovation projects to promote the autonomy of users.
Fight for equal rights and opportunities for the group we address.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION

Awareness-raising activities for professionals and users about responsible consumption habits: recycling, waste management, reduction of energy expenditure, use of recycled paper, reduction of paper consumption, reduction of the number of printers, good printing habits, reduction of plastic consumption. Responsible procurement prioritizing local suppliers sensitive to the environment and the social sphere.
Participation in ecological projects with the Barcelona City Council: Sustainable schools, apilo project, ecological garden for self-consumption (residence, cdo, school).
Proactive responsibility by transferring CSR to suppliers.

Awareness-raising workshops at school and in adult centers about the need to take care of the planet (eco-life workshop, sustainable+schools, reuse of materials, etc.).
Installation of photovoltaic panels to reduce fossil energy consumption and make use of renewable energies.

PEACE, JUSTICE AND SOLID INSTITUTIONS

Promotion of good management and governance practices, ethical data management and transparent information management. Adherence to ethical codes and codes of conduct.

Establishment of strategic alliances with different health, social and educational entities with the aim of sharing knowledge, research, innovation, networking and optimization of resources. Exchange of knowledge and experiences with other institutions.
Practice agreements with Universities and other training centers. Community collaboration projects to promote cooperation between city districts (schools, institutes, associations, etc.).
Collaborations with solidarity projects.
