This project is born from the desire to be and accompany other entities with a social purpose as a solidarity entity, which is why we participate in solidarity projects systematically or on a one-off basis.
The Aspace Catalunya Foundation, through its various services, participates in:
Solidarity campaign in favor of Fevadis (Federation of people with intellectual disabilities of Valencia), to collect rehabilitation, sensory, occupational, communication or therapeutic material, to be able to attend to the collective of people with intellectual disabilities, who have been affected by the serious DANA that whipped the community of Valencia. Users of our centers and services, their families and professionals from the Aspace Catalunya Foundation have collaborated in this campaign.
Collaboration with Fundació Mona, organization that works with projects on the preservation and recovery of primates. We made a donation with money collected from the stall of the users of the residence and CDO Montjuïc. We delved into a project for how they work for the recovery and rescue of primates and the evolution of humans and their similarities with primates. (2023)
Collection of donations for Caritas International, intended for those affected by the invasion of Ukraine. During 2022, the users of the adult centers and the School, through the donation of bookmarks, raised funds for this cause.
Solidarity collaboration with the NGO SAVE THE CHILDREN, supporting the children of the Rohingya ethnic group (northern Burma). It is a project that the NGO carries out every year during the celebration of Book Day, the money collected each year goes to a project related to childhood. The money collected in 2021 helped the children of the Rohingya ethnic group.
Annual collaboration with the TV3 Marathon. Every year all the centers organize activities, the proceeds of which go to the TV3 Marathon
Annual food collection collaboration with the Food Bank. We participate annually in the large food collection, both users, families and professionals.
Collaboration with Amásdes, organization for homeless people.
Collaboration with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation. The users of our residence have sponsored a boy and a girl from India.
Collaborations through donations of adapted material to people in vulnerable situations.
Participation in the Oxfam Intermón Trailwalker race from 2014 until 2019.
