Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a way of leading organizations and responds to the impact generated by all their activities, at a social, environmental and economic level.
The Fundació Aspace Catalunya is an entity that, due to its vision, mission and institutional values, has always worked under the principles of social responsibility. Its mission contributes positively to different sustainable development goals - SDGs - of the 2030 agenda.
The Aspace Catalunya Foundation's mission is to provide comprehensive care to people with neurodevelopmental pathologies, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, as well as to accompany and support their families, and during its more than 60 years of history it has always ensured values such as the health and well-being of the person in all its areas, social inclusion or the fight against inequalities.
In 2021, through the UCH Foundation and Vector 5, we carried out the evaluation of the Social Commitment Profile, obtaining a favorable results report. The Social Commitment Profile has allowed us to know the position (and diagnosis) of the organization in the 5 key vectors of social commitment (social, economic, labor, good governance and environmental) from the perspective of responsible hiring, considering the personalization of these requirements in our entity.
This action has encouraged us to work more proactively on CSR and to orient ourselves towards social commitment, generating differential value as an entity that provides services to people. We work on the major areas or vectors that revolve around CSR: social, economic, labor, environmental and good governance vectors. In addition, the Fundació Unió Catalana d'Hospitals has awarded us a recognition of the achievement of the Social Commitment Profile regarding the continued work in this line.
