What is cerebral palsy?

It encompasses a group of developmental, postural, and movement disorders that cause activity limitation and/or participation restriction and are attributed to non-progressive alterations in fetal and infant brain development. The motor alterations of cerebral palsy are frequently accompanied by sensory, cognitive, communication, perceptual, behavioral, and epileptic disorders and may lead to musculoskeletal problems and orthopedic deformities. (Rosernbaum et al., 2007)

What is Pluridisability?

Severe multiple expression disability. In other words, it is a complex state of the person in which two or more disabilities come together in an interrelated manner, which usually adds sensory, behavioral, communication disorders, among others, and a fragile health due to the simultaneity with other disorders and/or pathologies.
