"Stop Bullying": an artistic project to say enough to school bullying
The School has been awarded third prize in the state competition "Giotto is you: we all paint against bullying", thanks to an interdisciplinary project that unites artistic education and social values. The initiative, developed by the F group, the Dandelion, has stood out for its sensitivity and commitment in the fight against bullying, a problem that affects thousands of young people around the world.
A project to raise awareness and transform
The project, which has had as its centerpiece the artistic installation «Stop Bullying», began with a series of training activities to help students identify and prevent bullying situations. La Spanish Association for the Prevention of School Bullying (AEPAE) gave a talk online about the consequences of bullying, complemented by a visit from the Mossos d'Esquadra, who provided practical cases to make the problem more tangible.
During the tutorials, students reflected on the importance of values such as empathy, respect and responsibilityThis learning process culminated in the creation of an artistic work that addresses different types of harassment and the transformative power of words: those that can hurt and those that can heal.
Art and values in a single project
The project has not only had an emotional and educational impact on the school, but has also stood out for its dual curricular purpose:
- Artistic education: Development of creativity, teamwork and symbolic expression.
- Education in values: Encourage reflection on the impact of actions and words, while promoting a safe and respectful school environment.
Recognized at the state level
The contest jury "Giotto is you" has particularly valued the originality and depth of the project, which has managed to transform a social problem into a collective work full of meaning. This distinction not only validates the efforts of the students and teachers, but also sends a strong message: Together we can say NO to bullying.
