The Aspace Catalunya Foundation and the Bellvitge Hospital share experiences in the management of infrastructures and general services

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency in infrastructure management, the Aspace Catalunya Foundation has visited the Bellvitge Hospital to delve deeper into the management model of general services, with special attention to the area of ​​maintenance, infrastructure planning and the use of digital tools to guarantee optimal operation.

This meeting has allowed the exchange of knowledge on strategies for efficient space management, optimization of maintenance processes and implementation of control systems to guarantee the quality and sustainability of services. In this sense, one of the key points has been the analysis of the management software which allow monitoring the operation of equipment, anticipating incidents and speeding up decision-making.

The representatives of Aspace Catalunya have been received by German Romero, director of Infrastructure and General Services at Bellvitge Hospital; John Duran, Head of Maintenance; and Julia Gallego, Quality reference of the Directorate of Infrastructures and General Services, who have shared their experience in theapplication of innovative processes to ensure efficient and sustainable maintenance. They also highlighted the importance of strategic planning for adapting infrastructures to future challenges and the need to implement digital tools to improve traceability and monitoring of general services.

On behalf of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, they participated in the visit Toni Benito, Head of Maintenance; Albert Canton, Director of Economy and Finance; i Carlos Varela, Director of Transversal Operations and Social Area. The representatives have underlined the importance of professionalization and adaptation of management systems in highly complex healthcare environments, where the coordination and efficiency of general services are essential to guarantee a safe and functional environment for users and professionals.

With the aim of continuing this collaboration, Aspace Catalunya has invited the Bellvitge Hospital team to see first-hand its facilities and the unique approach to managing spaces and services adapted to the needs of people with cerebral palsy and neurodevelopmental disorders.

This initiative highlights the will of both institutions to enhance the strategic collaboration and share innovative management models that allow optimizing general services and ensuring quality care based on efficiency and sustainability.
