Users of the Residential Service and the Occupational Day Center of Aspace Montjuïc have had the opportunity to live an immersive experience in the world of urban dance, participating in a project that combined training, entertainment and social values.
This initiative has been structured in three key sessions: the first, a theoretical class where the trajectory of the collaborative dance school and the evolution of Hip-Hop as an artistic and cultural movement were presented. The second The session consisted of an adapted class where participants learned a simple choreography, encouraging inclusion and body expression. Finally, third The event was an exhibition starring the school's four competition groups, who offered a show full of energy and talent. The activity ended with a group dance session and an exchange of experiences between participants and Hip-Hop professionals.
Beyond artistic learning, this experience has represented a opportunity to reinforce fundamental values such as teamwork, solidarity and social commitmentIn this sense, the users of Aspace Montjuïc have contributed to the support of the competition groups through an economic contribution, raised from the sale of artisanal products made in the center's workshops. This initiative has not only helped young dancers continue to pursue their dreams, but has also promoted environmental awareness through the creation of sustainable products with recycled materials.
As a token of gratitude, the participants made personalized gifts for the dance groups and their teacher, such as badges, key chains and pendants, as well as a sign with the school's name made with letters from recycled paper, symbolizing the commitment to the environment.
This collaboration has left a deep mark on all involved, consolidating itself as an enriching experience on both an artistic and human level. The aim of the Aspace Catalunya Foundation is to continue promoting initiatives that foster inclusion, shared learning and personal growth through art and culture. In this spirit, it is planned to maintain the link with the dance school and explore new avenues of collaboration that continue to have a positive impact on the community.
