With the new Corporate Social Responsibility Plan (CSR), the Aspace Catalunya Foundation reaffirms its commitment to a responsible and sustainable management model, while at the same time positioning itself as a reference entity in the welfare, social and governance (ESG) field. This initiative is the result of Strategic Plan 2023-2027, which identifies CSR as a key axis to face the great challenges of the future with an innovative and transversal perspective.
This plan responds to the essence of Aspace Catalunya, with a firm commitment to:
- The well-being of users and families.
- Environmental sustainability, working to reduce the environmental impact of our activities.
- The implementation of ethical and responsible practices at all levels of the organization.

The values that define us
At the Aspace Catalunya Foundation, we are driven by a clear mission: offer comprehensive, humanized and person-centered care, focusing on the well-being of people with cerebral palsy, neurodevelopmental disorders and multiple disabilities, as well as their families.
Our values ofinclusion, ethics and humanization they are the guiding thread of all our actions. We believe that a just society is one that offers equal opportunities and accessible environments for everyone. This commitment translates into practices that respect human dignity and promote a positive impact, not only on the users, but also on the community and the environment.
A strategy built from transversality
The definition of the CSR Plan has involved 52 people between professionals from various fields and members of the Board of Trustees, reflecting our commitment to active participation and transversality. This collaboration has allowed us to identify risks, opportunities for improvement and strong points related to sustainability.
The Plan includes:
- Initial diagnosis of the entity's ESG challenges.
- Establishment of objectives and key actions with monitoring indicators.
- Implementation of measures to minimize environmental impact and promote social inclusion.
- Communication and awareness, to disseminate the results and encourage the involvement of interest groups.
- Continuous evaluation and annual improvement to adapt to new regulations and trends.
First results and expected impact
Initiatives to promote energy sustainability, reduce waste and sensitize both staff and the community stand out among the actions already underway. The Plan seeks to generate tangible positive impacts not only within the organization, but also in our stakeholders: users, families, suppliers, administrations and the community in general.
This approach allows us to advance in our mission of being an entity that transforms social challenges into opportunities for innovation and improvement, while staying true to our identity as a reference in comprehensive and quality care.
